DanceReach is an after-school community outreach initiative dedicated to bringing the joy of dance and movement to youth across San Antonio.  Initially launched to provide ballet instruction at six SAISD Elementary and Early Childhood Learning Centers - Buckner Fanning, International School of San Antonio, St. Monica, Lamar Elementary, St. George, and SABHSF - our program quickly expanded after the first year to include additional genres like hip hop and jazz.  Our long-term vision includes assessing the impact of our arts program on academic performance among enrolled students.

Our ultimate aspiration is to extend dance programming to every after-school program in San Antonio.  We offer weekly classes in classical ballet, creative movement, and stretch and strengthening exercises tailored for elementary school-aged students as part of the SA Youth/South San ISD After School Program.  Each student enrolled has the opportunity to participate in an annual on-site performance organized by our instructors and director.  Furthermore, San Antonio Ballet School offers supplementary performance opportunities and backstage tours of San Antonio Youth Ballet productions to interested children and their immediate families who are part of our program.
